Ash Powell is a Nashville-born singer-songwriter and guitarist who currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating from Vassar College in 2015, she headed straight for Los Angeles where she worked with music producer Annie Miles on her debut album “Walking on Tightropes."
“Walking on Tightropes” is a guitar-based rock album that brings together dreamy electric riffs with acoustic ballad-style compositions. Ash’s lyrics are thoughtful reflections that explore the interwoven feelings of loss and joy. She finds comfort in the natural contradiction that is life, and seeks to find balance in the midst of a chaotic world. For Ash, it is a fine line, like walking on a tightrope.
